Amanda + Brian // Emerson Park Couple's Maternity Photography

So, there have been a lot of couples on my blog lately and today I'm bringing you another one - plus the cutest baby bump! Amanda and Brian are expecting a baby boy any day now. Emerson Park holds a really special place in their love story together, including the fact that they got engaged there! I don't often use the park for sessions but with a special request like this, of course that's where we headed and I'm so glad we did! The blues of the water and the sky were such a beautiful and serene backdrop for this couple and their baby boy to be.

Thanks for looking! Hopefully there will be a post in the near future with photos of their adorable little one, once he makes his debut.

Daniela // Skaneateles Lake Maternity Photography Session

Secret : I usually scan through my clients' Facebook before our sessions because I'm sometimes afraid I won't recognize them when we arrive at our locations. This is relevant because although I'm always excited to photograph my clients, Daniela is absolutely gorgeous and I knew she would be rocking her sweet baby bump for our session - I just LOVE expectant moms... they're so beautiful!! And then these two show up and are so sweet, funny and caring together... I'm so excited for them to be parents and cannot wait to photograph their sweet baby girl - due this week!

Melana // Fall Maternity Photography

I think one of my favorite sessions to capture are for expectant mamas. First of all, I just think they look so beautiful with their bumps at pretty much as big as they'll be and with their excitement for what is to come. Secondly, I just love chatting about pregnancy and babies and connecting with other moms.

Today I'm sharing my most recent maternity shoot with Melana and baby Jax!

Best wishes to the new parents and baby!

The Howells // Maternity Family Session

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a dear friend of mine and her sweet little family. Sam is due to become a mama to a baby girl any day now! She was aprehensive about having maternity photos taken because at 38 or so weeks pregnant, she's feeling less than photogenic. But I think we can all agree that she looks beautiful and healthy. I cannot wait to meet their new baby girl!!

Are you a mama-to-be who is on the fence about maternity photos? Let's talk anyways! I think that no matter how you feel about your body at this time of your life, it's a beautiful process that should be documented lovingly and naturally. Check out some of my other maternity work and then shoot me a message!

Taylre / Syracuse Maternity Photography

Pregnancy is so, so beautiful. It can also be not-so beautiful - I totally get why some women hate it - but for the most part, so amazing. Our bodies expand to make room for a life to grow, and with that comes beautiful new curves and lines of our bodies that deserve the opportunity to be celebrated and depicted as the art form that they truly are.

I can't think of a better way to remember this time for our bodies and lives than a photography session, and I am so thankful for beautiful clients who I can bring a vision to life with. Guys, this one is seriously beautiful and so my jam. All the heart eyes for Taylre!

Adam + Alauna | Syracuse Maternity Photography

My sister "in-law" traveled from Houston last week for her baby shower, so of course we fit in a maternity session! It happened to be chilly and overcast the day we had planned for, but I totally didn't mind - overcast days make for some pretty, moody photos and that makes me excited to bring my editing style into different areas.

I love that these photos sort of look like two different sessions, and that I was able to give Adam and Alauna some different shots to have for themselves of this beautiful time of their life together. SO, without further ado - here they are!

Andrea, Chris & Baby Owen | Syracuse Maternity Photographer

I photographed this sweet couple this past weekend, who are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks! Andrea and Chris were overflowing with love for eachother, and will surely be amazing parents to baby Owen when he arrives. Check out his cute nursery that has lots of handmade touches, and the gorgeous view this family has of Cayuga Lake from the catwalk Chris built behind their house- and of course Andrea's beautiful belly!
